Kericho County is set to receive 40 state of the art pressurized milk containers to be distributed to dairy farmers to promote milk production, storage and sale in the county.

On January 11, County Executive Committee Member for Agriculture Hon Paul Chepkwony hosted officials from Maxglobal Group and Eurotank, companies which have been contracted by the national government to distribute the much needed tanks across the country at the County headquarters.

With Kericho County expected to receive 3 tanks in the first phase of the supply of the tanks, Maxglobal Chief Executive Officer Cornelius Kiplangat and the company’s marketing Manager Purity Langat offered to provide consultancy and maintenance support to the county government as it had staff who were trained to maintain tanks.

Kericho County Director of Livestock David Tanui asked officials from MAXGLOBAL GROUP to also provide training and technical support to residents of Kericho who were interested in Renewable energy such as biogas for cooking and for electricity supply.
