This was revealed when a team of engineers from the Kenya Railways Corporation and the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) contractor,China Roads Construction Ltd paid a courtesy call to the Deputy Governor H.E Eng.Fred Kirui on behalf of the Governor this morning.

Speaking while briefing the Deputy Governor,the team revealed that affected residents will be compensated for their land by the National Lands Commission and that Kericho will have at least three Train stations .

The Deputy Governor was flanked by County Secretary and Head of Public service Dr.Wesley Bor and Roads Public Works and Transport CECM Hon.Ben Bii.
