The County Government of Kericho joins the medical fraternity and the Kalya family in mourning the untimely passing of our Senior Clinician and Head of the Non Communicable Disease Centre at Kericho County Referral Hospital, Mr Stanley Kemboi.

His unfortunate and regrettable death following a tragic road accident has robbed Kericho County of one of its finest clinicians, a devoted husband, loving father, son, and dedicated colleague.

Stanley served our people with commitment, compassion and professionalism, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered by his colleagues, patients and the wider Kericho community.

The County Government of Kericho, conveys heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, colleagues and the entire Kalya family during this difficult period of grief and loss.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 29th September 2026, at Kaula Village, Kipkelion West Sub County, following a night vigil at his home.
A fundraising event in support of the family has been scheduled for Friday, 25th September 2026, at his home.

May God grant the family strength and comfort during this difficult time, and may the soul of Stanley Kemboi rest in eternal peace.
